Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) holds the Issuer Day for KEGOC

On 21 April, KASE held an Issuer's Day meeting for KEGOC. The event was held to whet the investors' appetite for the issuer’s securities and for KEGOC to establish feedback mechanism with the shareholders. The representatives of KEGOC and active market makers of Freedom Finance and BCC Invest, the subsidiary of CenterCredit Bank  and Tsesna Capital, took part in the event. Also the representatives of other broker companies, shareholders of KEGOC and leading business media of Kazakhstan attended the meeting.

 

Mr Aibek Botabekov, Member of the Management Board, Managing Director for Finance and Accounting of KEGOC reported on performance of the in 2016. The Managing Director, in accordance with the consolidated financial statements as of 31 December 2015, reported that KEGOC's had KZT 632.1 thousand in assets, KZT 270.0 thousand in liabilities, KZT 362.1 thousand in equity. KEGOC's income for the year ending on 31 December 2016 amounted to KZT 140.4 thousand, the expenditures were KZT 112.8 thousand, and net profit was KZT 27.6 thousand. The net profit in 2016 reached the highest level in the company's history.

 

Mr Botabekov also noted that, taking into account the interests of shareholders and in accordance with the dividend policy, the company will propose to the general meeting of shareholders scheduled for 12 May 2017, to approve payment of dividends to shareholders for 2016 with the total amount of KZT 7.3 billion, which is 50% of net income for 2016 (excluding KZT 6.5 billion dividends paid for H1 2016). Thus the dividend per one ordinary share of KEGOC will be KZT 28.13.
