Transformation through LIGHT


On 8 August 2018 a team-building retreat of KEGOC was held in the EnergoInform training centre. The event was attended by management and employees of the company involved in the implementation of the Business Transformation Programme.  

The main topic of the retreat was the corporate values model 'LIGHT'. Corporate values were previously approved by the Company's Management Board and aimed at developing KEGOC's corporate culture through continuous self-improvement and transformation of each employee, his/her way of thinking and behaviour. The retreat participants took part in competitions, solved intellectual challenges and fulfilled the creative task thus gaining knowledge and skills necessary for the high-quality performance of operational tasks.

According to Bakytzhan Kazhiyev, Chairman of the Management Board of the company, such events are an excellent tool for the development and building of the team. 'It is important for us that every employee understands and appreciates the corporate values, as well as his/her role in achieving the strategic goals of KEGOC. This is the part of the corporate culture that will help to unite around one common idea and implement the long-term strategy of our company,' noted the head of KEGOC.

He also thanked everyone for their active participation and good fruitful work. The culmination of the retreat was a lighthouse assembled of eight parts, specifying values of KEGOC employees. The light that crowned the whole assembly, according to the idea of the KEGOC team, symbolized the LIGHT on the way to the set goals.
